brick is a block made of hardened material, usually clay, but also may be of mud, etc. Clay bricks are formed in a moulding, and are then dried and fired to acheive their final, desired strength.

Bricks are used for building, such as walls, etc. They are stuck together using mortar, which may contain cement. They may also be arranged in patterns to improve their strength or for aesthetic purposes.
